From the cellar
Vigne Vecchie 50° was introduced in 2009 for the winery’s 50th anniversary and is one of the wines from the winery’s “Vigne Vecchie” (Old Vines) project. This wine is made entirely without oak. After temperature-controlled fermentation and maceration the wine matures in steel and concrete tanks. The vines are at least 50 years old, and the grapes are picked by hand after green harvesting and selection.
Tasting note
Dark-fruited, powerful and spicy, a balanced wine with density from very old vines, with lovely roasted notes.
