Vinchio Vaglio

Vinchio Vaglio is different from the small family wineries in our collection. It is a cooperative, bringing together winegrowers who have been cultivating the hills of Monferrato for generations. Their experience, knowledge and traditions come together in the cooperative.

We selected only a few of their wines because we believe they deserve to be discovered. The selected wines are part of the winery’s “Vigne Vecchie” (Old Vines) project, which was launched back in the 1990s. Vinchio Vaglio is one of the pioneers in preserving Barbera from old vineyards, and thanks to their long-standing dedication, they are now proud members of the international Old Vine Conference. The mission of this global network is to protect, promote, and establish a distinct new category on the shelves specifically dedicated to old vines.

Vinchio Vaglio shows that a cooperative can bring generations of vineyard experience to wines of outstanding quality.
