From the cellar
The wine matures for 12 months in new barriques, followed by blending and a further seven months in stainless steel tanks. It then receives at least 24 months of bottle refinement. Sergio describes it as broad, powerful and soft, with a slightly tannic structure that becomes more subtle with age.
Tasting note
Purple-red with garnet reflections tending towards orange. Intense, vinous and slightly herbaceous aromas of pepper, ripe fruit, raspberry and black fruits. Broad, full-bodied, powerful and soft, with a slightly tannic finish that softens with age.
