From the cellar
From vines of 50 to 80 years comes a dense, complex and elegant Barbera of the very first rank. After 12 to 16 months in French barriques it spends a further 12 months in bottle. For all its substance, power and bouquet of dark fruit — blackberry and cherry — it stays fresh, round and markedly elegant.
Tasting note
A bouquet of cherry, blackberry and dark plum, a little pepper, smoky nuances; elegant, balanced, with a very long finish.
