From the cellar
The best grapes from the estate’s historic vineyards — with what are probably the oldest Cabernet Sauvignon vines in Piedmont — are extracted gently but fully and aged at least 36 months, of which 20 to 24 in French barriques. The result is a world-class wine: full, powerful, well structured, with aromas of black fruit, smoke and a little chocolate, and great ageing potential.
Tasting note
Red cherry, cassis, dried fruit, herbs, a little smoke, tobacco and chocolate. A fleshy wine of great complexity and long ageing potential.
