Cascina La Barbatella

Founded in the 1980s, Cascina La Barbatella became a benchmark of Monferrato wine through Angelo Sonvico’s passion for the Nizza terroir.

In 2010 a new team took on the challenge of renewing the estate, raising quality at every stage from vineyard to cellar and adding new wines — Ruanera and La Badessa — alongside the precious selections Non è and Nizza Riserva.

In the first year of the new Nizza DOCG their La Vigna dell’Angelo won the most important national and international awards. The estate is a member of the Associazione dei produttori del Nizza.
